Metrics Glossary
A 0–100 composite score combining Performance Rating (40%), Impact Success Rating (30%), and Impact Contribution Share (30%), each percentile-ranked across all players. Higher = better relative to the full player pool.
A 70–99.9 individual quality score built from box-score and advanced stats, z-scored against the all other players and scaled to a fixed range. Comparable across seasons and conferences.
The percentage of a team's total impact attributed to a player, using minutes, usage, Player Efficiency Rating, and Box Plus Minus. Measures load-carrying rather than raw output — all players on a team sum to 100%.
Impact Contribution Share (ICS) weighted by team win percentage. Rewards players who carry a large team share and win. Players that are more impactful on more successful teams will have a higher ISR.
